It is our best hope to educate the world, and make changes to protect and save the Right Whales!
With North Atlantic right whales on the brink of extinction, we need more passionate people like Mischele Miller to help raise awareness for this species before it's too late. This story depicts the sense of urgency we should all be feeling to protect this species, but also how simple actions, such as reporting right whale sightings, can have such a huge impact on their survival. I applaud Mischele for taking on the challenge of writing a children's book about right whales that provides both science, as well as emotion.
The book “Riley the Right Whale and His Friend, Kyle” is a touching story based on facts. It describes how the Mommy of Baby Whale Riley becomes entangled in ropes in the ocean. And how Kyle and the rescue team make a gallant effort to save her life. This heartwarming story will appeal to readers of all ages. I highly recommend it !
